Artists apply for membership by showing a proof of competence in printmaking.
This is accomplished by submitting a work portfolio (5-10 digital images of prints) and a copy of their resume.
After being accepted as a new member, full payment of fees, and receipt of the signed artist’s contract is due. The artist will then receive a shop orientation, and a key to the studio.
The application and acceptance process usually takes 1-2 week(s).
Unlimited access to the studio.
Eligibility for inclusion in shows both in our exhibition space and elsewhere.
Access to our in house resource center which includes reference materials, catalogues and books.
Possibility for print exchanges.
Possibility for bulk buying of paper and other print supplies.
Participation in critique sessions with other members and guest artists.
Inclusion in Artwalk Gardiner and other cultural events and exhibits.
Annual members receive press scheduling priority.
Annual members scheduled for press time have equipment priority.
Fees & Schedule
This schedule applies to the 2021 season.February 1 through December 15.
Annual Artist Membership (10 months) $600.
Half season membership (5 months) $350.
Three month membership $240.
Two month membership $180.
*Printing Associates $150.
* There are day rates available for past members or artists who have taken a workshop at the press.
*Printing Associates are invited to participate in the press exhibits (3-4 per-year), be part of the CTSP exchanges with other presses, attend workshops/ lectures, and participate in press meetings. Associates would be printing at another facility, or on their own press.
There is a $75.00 non-refundable initial membership fee. This is a one-time fee for contiguous membership. Members pay a $25.00 studio key deposit, refundable upon return of key.
